What is Second Prime
Second Prime is a clinically designed longevity programme for midlife.
We turn your lived experience (sleep, energy, focus, recovery) and objective measures (blood pressure, lipids, glucose control, fitness and strength) into one joined-up plan. The aim is simply to lower modifiable health risks and raise day-to-day capacity, then prove it with re-measurement.
Why this matters.
Living longer doesn’t guarantee living well. The UK lacks a dedicated, preventative longevity pathway that personalises action and follows it through. Second Prime fills that gap with a data-led, evidence-based, guided approach focused on what moves outcomes in midlife.
We treat your physiology as a system, not as separate parts.
Behind each of our six domains sit the major biological systems (e.g. cardiovascular, metabolic, neuroendocrine, etc). We map how these systems interact in your life so we can identify the few levers that will move several things at once.

We always pair psychosocial analysis (how life is being lived) with biometrics and targeted biochemistry/pathology (what we can measure). Seen together, they reveal patterns that single tests miss.
Why this helps.
Most mid-life problems are multi-system and show up as friction before disease. Start with an introductory call, a multi-month Second Prime programme, or a one-off Longevity Health Assessment. Programmes give you ongoing support with repeat testing to confirm progress; assessments provide a rigorous baseline and a clear plan you can act on.
Second Prime® Core
Core is the entry Second Prime® longevity programme and lasts 3 to 5 months. Your programme begins with a assessment across the six Second Prime domains and your lived experience, then converts that picture into a plan of action, reflecting your lived experience in the data. Over 3-5 months we support you to make the changes that move outcomes while keeping a close eye on the numbers that matter most to midlife risk (for example, blood pressure and lipids where indicated). We schedule re-testing at set intervals to confirm that risk is trending down and capacity is trending up, and we adjust the plan accordingly. Core delivers a joined-up longevity health strategy with ongoing support, and proof that your effort is working
Longevity Health Assessments
A clear, thorough baseline with support around it. Each assessment includes a pre-assessment therapeutic conversation, targeted biochemistry and pathology, core biometrics (e.g. blood pressure, fitness/strength proxies, body composition), psychosocial analysis, and imaging where clinically indicated. You then receive a personalised report and a results conference that tells your story through your data and shows which of the six domains are under strain or strong, what that means, and the few changes most likely to shift your longevity trajectory.
Longevity Gold Assessment
A later-life longevity assessment for people over 65 and want to stay active and independent. Over a short sequence of visits we combine targeted blood tests (including uACR), core biometrics and functional reserve (gait speed, Timed Up & Go, grip strength, balance), cognition and mood screening, and a DEXA scan; we also loan a wearable to capture sleep and recovery trends. We offer a structured medicines review to reduce avoidable polypharmacy risk, plus a clear vaccination and screening status brief, always aligned to UK guidance. Your clinician-written report brings everything together through the Second Prime six-domain map, your Ageing Quotient and Longevity Curve, showing where strain sits, where you’re strong, and the few actions most likely to cut risk and preserve independence. We present this in a dual-led results conference and translate it into a practical plan you can follow.
Longevity Performance Assessment
Built for athletes who want to protect performance and their long-term health. This assessment extends our Longevity Health Assessment with performance-grade physiology and continuous recovery data, so we can show where your limiters sit (cardiac, pulmonary, peripheral, strength–power or recovery) and how to sequence training, fuelling and rest without drifting into risk. Expect targeted bloods (including apoB and Lp(a) where appropriate), cardiopulmonary exercise testing to true thresholds (VT1/VT2) with exercise ECG, optional lactate profiling, DEXA for bone and composition, strength/power diagnostics, and ~2–3 weeks of wearable-derived sleep and HRV trends, all brought together through the Second Prime six-domain map. We present your results in a dual-led results conference and translate findings into an actionable plan that balances race goals with longevity.
